Join Max Poston for a club sail on his boat and home, "Stanhope", a 1984 Ericson 381. If you're ready to test your sailing skills and reaction speed on a little bit bigger boat, this is a chance to sail in the exciting Baltimore Harbor. Because of the traffic and conditions, active participation is expected, also preparation and cleanup. Guests will be considered on a case by case basis.

Basic Coastal Cruising
ASA 103 is an intermediate sailing course provided over 3 days on a 30' keelboat with a wheel helm. We sail in the West River and Chesapeake Bay.
Close Quarters Maneuvering (Docking)
Learn to dock a wheel helm 30' vessel with prop wash and prop walk (no bowthruster) in a variety of conditions and locations.
This is a two day class. Class fee is $315.

Catamaran Cruising
ASA 114 is provided over 2 days with 1 overnight on a 40 to 45 ft catamaran. Three private cabins are available for 1 or 2 people each.

Private Cabin - 2 people: $1,500
If you have the prerequisites (ASA 104) you may earn your 114 certification, otherwise come along to experience catamaran sailing and enjoy the Chesapeake Bay.
You may board the evening before on July 19 after 6 pm or meet at the boat at 9 am on July 20.
