Join Skipper Max in maintaining Stanhope!

Have you considered buying a sailboat but heard too many stories from salty embittered boat owners about how it’s all maintenance and no sailing? Instead come get a hands-on look at what it really entails from someone who truly enjoys it. Max will walk through a number of tried and true checklists handed down through the generations for spring launching and winter haul out. Afterward you’ll get hands on time changing fuel and oil filters and prepping the boat for a shakedown cruise. Max has been living aboard and maintaining his 40 year old, 38ft sailboat with its original diesel engine for years; ask anything. Poseidon willing, we’ll even take her out and go sailing in the afternoon and maybe the recovery effort at the Key Bridge.

NOTE: It's easy to get to this location but Parking - This is a paid, quick to tow, parking lot, and payment at the kiosk is required in advance ~$15.  Max will provide a detailed map, it's easy to get to!
