This class will be taught on Martha Jean, an O'day 30, or a similar vessel. This class is on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday and will run from 9 am to 5 pm each day. It is not an overnight class.
Please order your 101 textbook, Sailing Made Easy, from ASA.COM or Amazon, before the class. A digital version is also available. Read the book and complete the exercises before the class if possible. A written exam will be given on one of the class days.
Come prepared for the weather including sunscreen, sunglasses/glasses straps, hat/strap, closed-toe non-marking shoes, layers, foul weather gear. Bring your own PFD if you have one. Bring lunch, snacks, drinks, water bottle and a small cooler pack if needed.
