Rules of the Road

Join Instructor Trevor Fells for a zoom presentation on the Rules of the Road (International & U.S. Inland Navigation Rules).

Understanding the Rules of the Road will help you navigate more safely and better evaluate the situations that may occur in busy areas like Annapolis Harbor, South River Red Buoy #4, the Delaware Bay, or the crowded West River exit ramp.

Also included is nighttime vessel lighting requirements.  Necessary for ASA 106, Advanced Coastal Cruising, or any night-time racing or cruising that you may do.  Understand what is coming at you and how to identify towing configurations, tugboats move fast and quiet and do not stay in the shipping channel!
