Join ANSA

Annapolis Naval Sailing Association membership is open to all. Our members include military and civilian sailors ranging in experience from new sailors to experienced skippers and certified instructors. 

Members may attend activities, come along on Club Sails on ANSA or member's boats, and register for ASA sailing classes taught by ANSA instructors. We are a non-profit organization, operating with all volunteer instructors.

NOTE:  ANSA memberships are based on the calendar year.  Members joining after July 1 in any year will receive a credit of 50% of their fee towards membership the following year.  Members joining after Nov 1 will receive a full membership for the next calendar year.

MEMBERSHIP LEVELS:

In order to provide a contact email and participate in ANSA activities, all individuals should register as a member in one of the available levels.  

Family memberships will only have one voting member.  One family member should select the Regular or Military Family membership and make payment.  Following that, other family members may select the Regular/Military Family Member level which does not require any further payment but allows you to provide an email address and participate in activities and classes.

• Regular Individual - Member may attend events, register for events that require payment, and may take training classes with ANSA.
• Regular Family - If there are multiple family members, one member from the family should register with this level.  Additional members should register as Regular Family Member if they wish to record their contact email, receive notices, and be able to register for events and training as a member.
• Regular Family Member - Each family member who wishes to register an email, receive emails, and register for events and classes should register
• Military Individual, Family, Family Member - If you are active or retired Military you may select any of the Military options.
• Geographically distant members who do not expect to participate in any activities may select the reduced fee membership.
• SCWDC - Members of the Sailing Club of the Ski Club of Washington DC may have a complimentary membership in the Annapolis Naval Sailing Association
