ANSA hosts Club Sails on member's boats and club boats in order to provide our membership with opportunities to practice their sailing skills, have fun on the water, and enjoy the beautiful Chesapeake Bay. Club Sails are a great way to gain experience and obtain your log hours. Club Sail events may include half and full day sails, dinner cruises, moonlight/starlight cruises and overnight/raftups. Club Sails are posted in the Event calendar and are added as the sailing season progresses based on Fleet and Skipper availability. Club Sails are open to all members and their guests. The fee for a club sail is generally $40 to $60 per sailor depending on the event. Gift Certificates for Club Sails may be purchased in the ANSA Store. CANCELLATION POLICY: If you cancel your club sail registration within 1 week of the event, you will NOT receive a refund. You payment will be considered a donation to ANSA. If ANSA cancels a sail due to weather or any other reason, you will receive a full refund. All Club Sails are skippered by an ANSA qualified Club Ops Skipper and ANSA policies and procedures must be followed. No alcoholic beverages are permitted on ANSA Club Sails. The ANSA skipper is in charge of the vessel and the crew. NOTE that some sails start at different times, so check the scheduled time carefully. We may end a sail early for various reasons, but we try to also be walking off the dock at the scheduled time. Also, locations vary, including Arnold, Annapolis, Edgewater, Galesville, and Baltimore. You may register for a Club Sail or join a waitlist by clicking on a link below. To give all of our members a chance to join a Club Sail, please only register for TWO sails at a time, and following completion of the first sail, you may register for another. |
